Politics, Accountability, and Climate Transition

The most devastating impacts of climate change will be felt not in advanced industrialized economies but in low and middle income economies of the Global South. How will these impacts reshape demand for social protection, public service provision, and accountability from the state? How will states respond to the unprecedented challenges of global warming, decarbonization, and the impacts of both on citizen well being? Based at Stanford University, PACT Lab's mission is to shed light on these questions through original research; data collection; and community building within the academy and beyond.
